What is International Academy Manila?
International Academy Manila (IAM) is an accredited educational institution in the Philippines offering grade school, master's, doctoral, and training programs for learners of all ages.
Is IAM recognized by DepEd?
Yes, IAM is recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) as an accredited homeschool provider under the Alternative Learning System framework.
Where is IAM located?
Our main office is located in L2 Gallardo Bldg, CSQC, 8 Mayumi St., UP Village, Philippines. Many of our programs are also available online for learners across the country and abroad.
How do I contact the admissions office?
You may reach us via our official website contact form, email, or by visiting our office. Office hours are Monday to Saturday,
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
When does enrollment open?
Check our official website or Facebook page for specific dates and deadlines each year.
What documents are required for enrollment?
Required documents include: PSA birth certificate, latest report card or Form 138, good moral certificate, and a valid ID. Additional requirements may vary per program.
Can I transfer from another school mid-year?
Mid-year transfers are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our admissions office directly to discuss your situation and requirements.
Can I submit my enrollment documents late?
Yes, you can submit an affidavit of undertaking to provisionally enroll, provided you submit the missing original documents before the midterm examination period.
How long does the online document verification process take?
Verification typically takes between 3 to 5 business days after submission. You will receive real-time status updates via your registered email address.

What age groups can enroll in the homeschooling program?
IAM's homeschool program accepts learners from Kinder through Grade 12. Parents serve as the primary facilitator under the guidance of IAM's accredited curriculum.
Do I need a teaching background to homeschool my child?
No teaching degree is required. Parents must attend a mandatory facilitator orientation and commit to regular monitoring and portfolio submission as guided by IAM.
Will my child receive a recognized diploma?
Yes. Graduates of IAM's DepEd-accredited homeschool program receive an official diploma that is recognized for college admissions in the Philippines and abroad.
How are learners assessed in the homeschool program?
Learners are evaluated through portfolio submissions, quarterly assessments, and an annual evaluation conducted by IAM's academic team.

What master's degree programs does IAM offer?
IAM offers four 2-year master's programs:

What is the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program?
The MSN is a 2-year program for nursing professionals who want to move into leadership, education, or specialized clinical practice. Available majors:
- Nursing Administration
- Nursing Education and Clinical Teaching
- Adult Health Nursing
- Maternal and Child Care
- Community Health Nursing
What is the Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) program?
The MAEd is a 2-year program for educators and school leaders. Available majors:
- Educational Administration
- Basic Education Teaching
- English Education
- Mathematics Education
- Science Education
What is the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program?
The MBA is a 2-year program with no formal majors. Program focus: strategic management, leadership and entrepreneurship, operations management, marketing and finance, and international business.
What is the Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) program?
The MHA is a 2-year program with no formal majors. Program focus: healthcare management, hospital operations, healthcare finance, human resource management, and quality assurance.
How long does a master's program take to finish?
All master's programs currently run for 2 years.
What are the admission requirements for a master's program?
Applicants need a bachelor's degree, Transcript of Records (TOR), certified true copy of diploma, recommendation letters, CV or résumé, a valid ID or passport, and must complete an interview. An application fee of ₱500 applies.
Are master's programs offered online?
Yes. Master's programs are 100% online and distance-based, using a modular, self-paced system designed for working professionals. Instruction is in English and follows international curriculum standards. Programs are offered through IAM in partnership with AMU under the French educational system, and credentials are eligible for CHED evaluation or equivalency in the Philippines.
What doctorate programs does IAM offer?
IAM offers four 2-year doctorate programs:
- Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
- Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD Nursing)
- Doctor of Philosophy in Education (PhD Education)
- Doctor of Education (EdD)
What is the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program?
The DBA is a 2-year program with no formal majors. Program focus: executive leadership, strategic management, organizational transformation, business innovation, and applied research.
What is the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD Nursing) program?
The PhD in Nursing is a 2-year program. Available majors: Nursing Leadership and Management, and Nursing Education. Program focus: advanced nursing practice, nursing research, healthcare leadership, and evidence-based practice.
What is the Doctor of Philosophy in Education (PhD Education) program?
The PhD in Education is a 2-year program with a major in Educational Leadership. Program focus: educational governance, strategic planning, institutional development, research and innovation, and quality assurance. Graduates develop advanced leadership and management competencies, high-level academic and policy research capability, institutional innovation skills, ethical and strategic decision-making, and stronger educational governance practice.
What is the Doctor of Education (EdD) program?
The EdD is a 2-year program with a major in Educational Management. Program focus: educational leadership, institutional planning, governance and management, curriculum innovation, quality assurance, and educational transformation.
How long does a doctorate program take to finish?
All doctorate programs currently run for 2 years.
What are the admission requirements for a doctorate program?
Applicants need a master's degree, Transcript of Records (TOR), certified true copy of diploma, recommendation letters, a research concept paper, CV or résumé, a valid ID or passport, and must complete an interview. An application fee of ₱650 applies. Bridging courses may be required if your master's degree isn't aligned with your chosen doctorate program.
Are doctorate programs offered online?
Yes. Doctorate programs are 100% online and distance-based, using a modular, self-paced system designed for working professionals. Programs are offered through IAM in partnership with AMU under the French educational system, and credentials are eligible for CHED evaluation or equivalency in the Philippines. Additional dissertation and graduation fees may apply.
